WOOOW! HI THERE!

HEY MRAZZY CRAZY LOVERS

Well ladies, i'm a new Mrazwoman!!! yeeeyy, so happy!

Read some posts just to get an idea of what to write and realized that I wanted to share so much stuff with you!!!

First of all, gonna introduce myself: my name is Paula, people just call me Pau, Pauline, Puli. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I practice yoga, did dance lessons for many years, Im addicted to my camera, I like photography very much and write sometimes poems or verses when Im inspired (for myself). Im 20, starting Graphic Design at Buenos Aires University and beginning to explore life, what I want to do, and those sort of things.
And this is where jason enters into my life. Apart from his extra-talented voice, uplifting melodies and catchy and sometimes funny wordplay, I love his perspective of the world and the way he puts in practice all that he wants to do. I don't need to explain it anymore, Im sure you all know what Im talking about - gratitude, be love, the power of now, what he posts on his blog, etc… If you haven't heard yet his speech at Leaders Causing Leaders, I super-hiper-highly recommend it (from youtube) ;)

I knew Jason not so long ago, I must confess. I think I became his fan in 2008, when I fall in love with Geek In The Pink, Details In The Fabric and Butterfly. Later, I started to hear more and more songs, and even today I find new songs (the older ones) and many versions of the same songs that are really awesome. Its never-ending, fortunately, there is always something new to hear or see.

Now in February Im going on holidays to Brazil, its pretty close to Argentina, and as you all know Jason will be playing some shows in different cities there and Im trying to convince my parents to go to one of them in Salvador. Hope we'll goo!!! Ive never gone to any of his shows YET. He came only once to Buenos Aires and I couldn't go! I wanted to kill myself! So Im very excited about this possibility.

Apart from J, I hear Jack Johnson, Tristan Pretttyman, Ben Harper, Christina Perri, Colbie Caillat, Coldplay, The Fray, Corrine Rae Bailey, The Makepeace Bros.,The Kooks, Oasis, The Script, James Blunt, Jamie Culum, John Mayer, Keane, music from my country, also Brazilian music etc, etc.

And this year 2011 I've decided to have a greener & healthier life: turning off lights when they are not being used, dividing the trash for plastic, paper, etc, saving more water, eat healthier, do more exercise, & so on. Also trying to tell my family and friends to do the same.
I would also like to begin with portuguese and singing lessons, perhaps someday in the future I will dedicate and post for all of you some Mraz song ;) Don't expect it too soon haha.
And why not finding a prince charming this year? <>that came into my mind right now =)

Im @pauaubert at twitter and many of you are following me. At first I didn´t tweet anything and retwitted everything that I liked or find interesting. Now Im trying to write more things and find difficult to stop retweeting everything, haha but I'm trying to.
I don't know how I wll be able to survive three weeks without you guys and twitter and mraz's videos!! But hopefully I will be seeing him in Brazil ;)

Moving on, Im so happy for J and the pretty TP for their engagement, they really make me happy and they were made for each other. Some time ago I read on twitter that Tristan had joined MrazWomen. Is it true or I had just misunderstood everything?
Once for New Year I wrote something to TP in her twitter and she retwitted me that, I couldn't believe it, I was sooo blissful.

And last but not least, Im really thankful for finding this blog and being part of it, not only I get to know more info and videos from Jason =), but also I love being part of this "community" (if you agree) that is cozy and welcoming, where all of us share our life experiences, thoughts, likes, problems, projects, etc. So thanks for being there, wherever you are in this globe and hope we will get to know each other more :) That really comes from my heart. <3

Wish me luck in Brazil 8) !!! I will be there from this saturday until the 21st of February. Brazilian garotinhas, any of you will go to the Festival de Verao at Salvador the 5th?
Lucy from Argentina, quiero contactarme con vos! Te hable por twitter pero debes estar de vacaciones. Going to keep writing in English so that everybody understands ;) I have just read your post about your meeting with Jason!!!! I cant believe it!! It makes me shiveeeeerr, now you know with whom you can go on first row on the next show!=D

Can't wait to receive the book! =)
Can´t wait to hear his new album!
Can't wait to see Jason on his next tour!

Be Love,
With Love,
Pau

Sorry if i have spell or grammar mistakes!, its been long i don't write in english =S

Happy Now Year!

Well, I am not entirely sure what to write.
I just wanted to wish you all a lovely new year and I also wanted to thank all of you lovely ladies for being there for me in 2010.
I have the greatest respect for all of you and know one knows how grateful I am that the Mraz man has connected us. I love you guys.

Up, Flyin' Away!

Today I finished writing 6 full pages. Pages filled with thoughts, emotions and details of this past year. It had the good, the bad, the ugly, the silly, the sad, the happy…. all of it! Last year, I went through about every emotion a person could go through, so I guess it took 6 full pages to get it all out. After I finished it, you know what I did? I pressed DELETE! Yep, on purpose!

The past is the past for a reason. It’s only purpose is to hold space for memories and lessons. It is not there to be dwelled on, or filled with regret, or used as a comparison for today. When you start comparing how you live your life today to the past you put a limit on yourself. You are limiting your possibilities. When you live in the present, live in the now, and experience life from that vantage point, you’re “taking the ceiling off”. The possibilities are limitless!

I was inspired this year by Jason’s “Happy Now Year” blog. I’m focusing on spontaneity and living without fear this year. If there is one thing I learned last year, it was that life is too short for regrets and fear! So I challenge all of my Mrazzy friends to remember this is what your life looks like! Love it and live it!

Happy New Year, friends!

Haven't posted here in awhile and just put this up on my Gratitude Log, but feel like it has some relevance here, so enjoy! And thanks for taking the time to read this through. :)

Here are my Now Year resolutions!

I will focus even more on my music and hopefully learn most of what I need to know about guitar by the end of this year to really start playing more advanced songs. I'm really excited to see how my homemade CD will turn out and I'm even more excited for the outcome...which I know will soon be true. I'm being patient with this whole process and not trying to find shortcuts out...as we all know, good things come to those who wait. My goal is to have it done by the end of this year or the beginning (first half?) of next year (2012). I've waited patiently and worked hard for it...I deserve this.

I will also work even harder for the guy I've had my eye on for a long while now (I mean over a year). I'm going to stop telling myself I'm not good enough and that I don't deserve that special kind of love that I want so much, and just GO FOR IT.

I will, on top of all this, eat healthier...not going to commit to becoming vegan or invest all my time in a fully organic diet (mad props to those who do!), but just pay a little more attention to the food that goes in me. You are what you eat, and I'm striving to be more conscious of that. Baby steps.

Man, I hope it's a great year, I really do. Correction: this will be a fucking awesome year and I'm completely open and fired up for all the possibilities. I want to learn and grow and experience all that life has to offer for a sixteen, almost seventeen, year old girl. I want to completely change, while also staying true to myself throughout the whole journey.

One last resolution that I just thought of: to not be so jealous of other girls all the time. I'll admit that I have that problem at school. I'm always comparing myself to other people, finding all the wonderful qualities they have and convincing myself that they're any better than me because of that. Letting go of all that negativity will bring out the best side of me! I'm allowing things to take their natural course...and in the end of the day, I can honestly say that I have a bigger heart than any of the snobs I give the evil eye to. I'm PERFECTLY ME and it's stupid to try and be someone else. Gotta start embracing my flaws a bit more, I must say, and begin "leaning into the discomfort." I'm going to get comfortable in that zone that's still strangely new to me and start L I V I N G.

Hope 2011's ready for all my big plans!

I'm excited to make all this a reality.

Mad love for all of you,
Sasha

P.S. I'll post one of my songs up here soon! <3

First official picture of me in 2011. I think it's fitting since I'm ready to try new things this year, and 01-01-11 was my first time riding The Hulk roller coaster. (I'm in the middle.)

Grateful for MrazWomen

Hello my fellow Mrazzy ladies and MrazWomen! I'm new here so I thought I'd take some time to say hello and introduce myself! I reside in beautiful Indiana, USA where it's possible to have snow and a thunderstorm in the same day! :-)

I was first introduced to Jason Mraz when Geek in the Pink came out! Loved it! I was into hip hop music at the time so this was awesome. Mr. A-Z was my first Mraz album. Being into hip hop at first I didn't like much of the album. After awhile the CD found it's way to the back of my CD case. Then November 2009 I heard of this new Live album "Beautiful Mess - Live On Earth". It sounded awesome so I really wanted to get it. Nevermind that I totally missed WSWDWST!! I kept putting it off of my "to buy" list for awhile and then in Feburary something happened....(I promise this is going somewhere) :-)

My Mom at the age of 56 suffered a severe hemoratic stroke. After 11 days in ICU we moved to hospice to make her comfortable for her final days. It was the most difficult 2 weeks of my life. After my mom's passing, I felt cheated, lost and angry. Gratitude and love were now where to be found. So I decided that since I had no control of that situation, I would on something I did have control over...myself. I began to look for things that made me happy. And therefore, I finally got the "Beautiful Mess - Live on Earth" album.

On the way home from the store, I popped it in the car stereo and began to listen. "Sunshine Song" came on and it was like, that was exactly what I needed hear, at exactly the right time in my life. I cried through the whole thing! I actually had to listen to it a few more times before I could get through the whole thing without crying. From March until July that album was pretty much all I listened to. Except of course for the Mr. A-Z album I dug out. I found a new love for "Plane" and "Song for a Friend" It's amazing how music affects you at different times in your life.

I began to find joy in simple things, and be grateful again. I was learning that (from Jason's blog) life is what you make it up to be, even the crappy stuff. You choose how it affects you. You DO have control in how you live your life. If you're in a crappy situation, make it up that it doesn't suck and you'll start to see all the amazing things you were missing! I truely love that man for helping me to see how amazing life truely is!

Needless to say, I became addicted! I wanted to know all of the new songs, old songs, blogs. etc. So I joined Twitter! :-) I've found so many amazing friends there, and now here. Because of Twitter and the RKOP I discovered Jason was touring this past fall. So I planned to go to my first Mraz show in Columbus, OH!!
I was so stoked to finally see the man who had changed my life. I got GA tickets and Jump the Line passes. And, I was front row for my first ever Jason Mraz concert with my best friend, and sister! I was the most amazing night of my life! I can't wait to do it again. I was truely hoping to meet Jason and get my hat signed. No luck on meeting him but I did get my hat taken back to get signed. I am so lucky to have such an awesome momento of my first concert!
Thanks for reading all of my rambling ons... so grateful for Jason Mraz, my Twitter friends, and now MrazWomen!

The Gratitude Project 2011

It came to me today and I want to send Gratitude around the world.
So this is what I came up with.

I recently bought this Journal:

I fell in love with this journal on Amazon the moment I saw it. I really think we could use it to not only write a list of what we are grateful for.. but a little note or letter to the other MrazWomen that you will be sending it a long to. The next person on the list. I really want to get as many of you ladies to do this as possible. I want us to send a little gratitude and love around the world. And hopefully add more ladies as we go along.

If you want to do this with me.. Hopefully you will. Email me (ameronieo@gmaildotcom) or tweet me (@ameronieo) with your address and I will add you to the list.

The book itself is very small and light so postage will not be too much.

I really really love this and hope you all can participate.  Lets make 2011 a year full of so much love and Gratitude.

I love you all so much! :)

-Amy

Who is That Guy Challenge!

Make 2011 The Best Year Ever!

Hello, my wonderful, beautiful ladies!

Another year has passed.  More friendships have been forged.  More life stories have been shared.  More love and support have been given.

Words will never be enough to convey my heartfelt gratitude to all of you.  Thank you for welcoming me and other fellow MrazWomen into your lives.  By being part of this little family, by merely visiting this blog, by constantly keeping contact through Twitter, Facebook, Skype and other online faculties, you have made my decision to start this community a truly memorable one, probably one of the best ideas I've ever had in my entire life. ♥

For 2011, I can only wish and hope for more.  I hope more of us can share our wonderful life experiences.  I hope more of us learn how to be better people by being friends with one another.  I hope more laughs, more love, and more support would be freely and open-heartedly given by each and every one of us.  And of course, more Mraz awesomeness. :)  Best Year Ever!

If any of you need me, I am just an email away....for now. ;)

Be radical love!
Jam/MrazGal

P.S. I hope you like the new look of the blog. :)
