Well Hello There!
A lot has been going on with me since the last time I posted (I don't even remember when that was....)
I am less then a year away from finishing an associates degree in Health Informatics... thinking about going to OIT (Oregon Institute of Technology) for a Bachelors Degree in Health Informatics. It means more school.. but I don't want to end up working retail until I can hopefully retire someday. I see these older ladies at my current job so bitter about about everything. I do not want to end up being one of them.
Work is going really well. Last year I trained to do Customer Service and in September I learned how to do the bookkeeping. Checking is difficult for my anxiety and my introvert personality. I like working independently, yet still part of a team. There is one person at work who is really getting on y nerves... I guess we all end up having that one person that makes you cringe when they talk to you. When he opens her mouth to talk.. all I hear are the parents from Charlie Brown. Trying to be calm and nice about it because she is one of those bitter ladies I was talking about.. but everything has to be about her. She uses people to get a step up. I'm sorry.. she has thrown me under the bus many of times. It hasn't worked to her advantage, but the fact that she tries and then acts like her poo doesn't stink.... no way. Argh!
My Anxiety is completely in control. I feel peaceful now. I can function. I have my independence. I finally feel like a normal, adult, functioning in society.
Jym and I are in the process of the proper paperwork to get married. Its easy, just a pain in the ass to wait around for it. No wedding date yet, but I will be Mrs Stock by the end of next year. Why couldn't he have been born in America... would have made my life easier. lol.
Saw Jason last month in Portland. IT WAS AWESOME. Didn't get to meet him because he left to go home right after the show.. but we did meet Mai, Becky and Tina. :) It was awesome.
Well, that is the latest!

Post A Photo of Your Hair Day: A Documentation.
With radical love,

on Sunday, March 13, 2011
It all started when TJ posted a photo of her new haircut on Facebook. Check out the awesome bangs!
Then I did. I know, it's a mess of curls, but I've had short hair for years and this is the first time in a long time I've decided to grow it out. Besides, my boyfriend Jason already told my stylist not to touch my hair. (Yeah, he likes long hair.)
Then Christina uploaded hers. Awesome shirt!
Soon everybody else followed!
Whitney and her awesome white headband
Babe-alicious Dawn
Stephanie's CD album cover
Dahlia's crazybeautiful red locks
Marissa and her killer blue highlights, how I envy you!
Amy, hypnotizing you with her eyes
Sarah and her adorable glasses
May and her mustache. Another fellow hair grower due to boyfriend's demands. :P
So far, those are the people who were bored enough to follow the fad. Haha, maybe next time we should do a weekly post-a-pic theme! That should be fun.
I owe you a better blog post next time.
Lotsa love,
MrazGal

I am a checker at a grocery store. .and I have to deal with a lot of crap from people. But every now and then something happens that totally brings a smile to my face.
On Sunday,... about an hour before my shift was to be over. I had a young lady in my lane usine a couple WIC checks (WIC stands for Women and Children... assistance for pregnant women and children under 5 with low income) and we chatted while I was ringing her up.. and when she went to buy her two extra items not covered by WIC she pulled out a bunch of change and was counting it out and she was saying "I hope someday I don't have to struggle" when she turned to put the remainder 1.00 on her debit card, the women behind her placed a 20 on her wallet... I saw this and smiled at her. When the young lady turned back around she looked at me and said "did you?" and I pointed to the women behind her and it was a nice moment. They hugged while the young lady started to tear up.
When she left.... the child of the customer that gave her 20 dollars asked her "why did you do that?" and the lady said "Because we can afford to get all this food, and some people can't. If you can help people, you should"
It took all my willpower to not cry right there in my checkstand. Made me want to go out and do something nice for someone.
So Ladies.. What have you done to spread a little love and kindness around? And if you havent lately.. what have you got to lose?

It came to me today and I want to send Gratitude around the world.
So this is what I came up with.
I recently bought this Journal:
So this is what I came up with.
I recently bought this Journal:
I fell in love with this journal on Amazon the moment I saw it. I really think we could use it to not only write a list of what we are grateful for.. but a little note or letter to the other MrazWomen that you will be sending it a long to. The next person on the list. I really want to get as many of you ladies to do this as possible. I want us to send a little gratitude and love around the world. And hopefully add more ladies as we go along.
If you want to do this with me.. Hopefully you will. Email me (ameronieo@gmaildotcom) or tweet me (@ameronieo) with your address and I will add you to the list.
The book itself is very small and light so postage will not be too much.
I really really love this and hope you all can participate. Lets make 2011 a year full of so much love and Gratitude.
I love you all so much! :)

ok, after reading and listening to what everyone else has posted. Here are mine!
From the moment I heard it.
HUTCH! Woot. My best friend and I love love love this song. It's the best when we are driving and stopped at a light and the windows are open. This video was recorded at a show I went to in 08. The girl with the redish hair and ponytail on the left of the screen... is my bestie. Sarah. I am just out of sight. hehe. Eric has made Sarah and I so close. We love him :)
NEXT
Love her! She is my relax music.... the playlist I play when I can't sleep because I am stressed... she calms me.
This song is my favorite to play on my ipod when I am walking home from work. It makes me move faster, and I sing a long and don't care if anyone hears me.
Enough for now :)
First - my most favorite song..... ever.
It's beautiful.

My Gratitude Journal Cover
I have had this journal since the beginning of the year but finally got around to decorating the cover (I did some scrap booking and continued on with my creative-ness)
It's to to remind me of the things I am really grateful for every single day. The love of my life: Jymmy :), My best friend and her little boy, Dutch Bros (A coffee place that is always speading the love around) and Music.
I encourage you all to make a gratitude journal. It's nice to look back on what I have written down when I am having a crummy day. To remind me of what life is really about.

I.love.this.song
Always been one of my most favorites.
Today as I was shuffling my library and this song came on, I kept playing again. It's so beautiful. Not just the tune and the sound... the words.
Today as I was shuffling my library and this song came on, I kept playing again. It's so beautiful. Not just the tune and the sound... the words.
So, just read the words and forget the sound. I wish I could write this beautifully.
I bare my windowed self, untamed and untrained
dreams that hardly touch our complexions truest faults
dreams that hardly touch our complexions truest faults
If room enough for both my drowsy spirit shall fall
both waves tumble, oh to the season of my heart
and you have offended my faith and my trust
until all us lost into the beauty of the day.
until all us lost into the beauty of the day.
until all is lost away
But there's something in the way you laugh
and it makes me feel like a child
aspects of life they confuse me
you and your thesis amuse me
you and your thesis amuse me
Oh, after an afternoon with you
and your rich brown eyes
your lips and your dark hair
and your rich brown eyes
your lips and your dark hair
elbows and exposed knees tossing towards the ceiling
after an afternoon
after an afternoon
Face to palm
tear to tear
tear to tear
and mouth to tongue
heart to ground
heart, heart, heart to ground, oh...
I am in love.
Oh how I love this song. <3

I am Amy. I’m 23 (24 on the 10th of March) I am also is Portland Oregon. I love it here. I have been a Mraz-a-holic for many years… sometime in high school I heard “Remedy” on the radio and was instantly hooked… and have been since. I saw him live for the first time in 08 and again in 09 . Amazing live.
If I had to pick one favorite song it would have to be Sleeping to Dream… my man and I are separated by land and ocean and an 8 hour time difference and this song brings a smile to my face. Because I indeed, sleep to dream. Halfway home is my favorite to sing in the shower, and beautiful mess will be played at my wedding. And countless others that are constantly played and sang along to.
A little non-mraz related random stuff about me.
I love to laugh.... laughter is what gets me through most days. I try to find the funny in situations where some people would find anger. I love love. I love giving love. I love being in love. Anyone who doesn't see that in me is truly missing out.
<3
Be Love.
Every now and then I like to post this entry from my dad's journal. He passed away in October of 99.... and this one always brings a smile to my face.
I thought about this post after something really awesome happend at work yesterday. I'm a checker at a grocery store and I had a women in line with her two young kids. She was paying with food stamps and didn't have enough on her card... then her debit card wouldn't process for the remaining 56 dollars. The women behind her piped up and asked me how much it was and I told her. She then proceeded to pay for the rest of the womans groceries. Without even hesitating. She just asked that the kindness is passed on to someone else.
It this day and age it's rare to see such selflessness and love for a stranger. It warmed my heart and brought tears to my eyes.
From my father is where my true love for people comes from. He is still a constant reminder to be kind and be love.
This year I vow to be more kind and loving. Never to take anything for granted and be thankful for those who make me who I am.
8-99 (From my Dad’s Jourmal)
As we travel the road of life, we all too often spend too much time focusing on our destination, and missing the scenery along our way. Today I was reminded again that the journey is shorter then we imagine and we can’t retrace our steps. I am determined to take more time on this I often forget.
I will take time do:
-Listen to my daughter’s questions for they need my answers.
-Pat the dog and receive her licks of love and affection.
-Tell my wife I love her everyday.
-Never let an important word go unsaid
-Always be honest when someone asked me, “How do you feel?”
-I will speak less criticism and more words of encouragement
-Try to see the good side of each situation
-Never go to sleep with anger in my heart towards anyone.
-I will try not to overlook the opportunity to perform random acts of kindness.
And when it’s my time to go, I want to leave with a smile on my face, a song in my heart, and a word of kindness on my lips.

I wonder how many times I have to say "Don't let your mind stop you from having a good time" before I actually listen.

Really. No matter how many times I say it to myself.... I'm still standing back and letting the world pass me by and feeling sorry for myself and everyone else has a great time.
I wish I was like the rest of you girls. Instead of the giant ball of worry I continue to be.
I guess I just need encouragement. And giant hugs.
Because I really let my mind stop me from having a good time.
